Cabins based on the infamous Thoreau cabin for writer’s retreats and ecological educational experiences.

Education & Research Partnerships

Partnership with ecologists and regenerative forestry programs to monitor land and evolve our understanding of ethical stewardship.

Advocacy

In addition to endangered plant and land advocacy, we advocate for the reintroduction of gray wolves in the Northeast — Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York — where wolves are protected under the Endangered Species Act. While none of these states currently promote wolf recovery, the return of the misunderstood wolf would reflect a healthier, more balanced ecosystem.

SPRING - SUMMER 2024: Continued planning and land stewardship.

FALL 2024: Planting more native, endangered medicinals.

SPRING/SUMMER 2025: Repair of old loggiing roads, marking trails.

FALL 202: Partnership development with ecologists and regenerative forestry programs to monitor and continue learning from the land. Begin building Thoreau cabins.
